Born on April 3, 2009, as the eldest of five siblings, Muna was diagnosed with bilateral hearing loss. At the age of two, she received cochlear implants in both ears at Prince Court Medical, opening the door to a world of sound and possibilities.

Artistic Talent

Muna has developed remarkable talents in anime drawing and poetry recitation. Her artistic abilities showcase her creativity and passion for self-expression, inspiring others in the hearing-impaired community to pursue their own creative interests.

Leadership & Advocacy

Since 2024, Muna has served as Vice President of SuperHEARo, participating in various advocacy programs across Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei. Her dedication to raising awareness about hearing issues has made her a role model for young people facing similar challenges.

Athletic Excellence

Muna represented Malaysia in Taekwondo at the Asia Pacific Deaf Games 2024, demonstrating that hearing challenges are no barrier to athletic achievement. Her participation on the international stage showcases her determination and competitive spirit.

Recognition

In recognition of her inspiring journey and commitment to advocacy, Muna received the SuperHEARo 2025 Hope Award from the Hear Me Association. She continues to pursue her artistic and leadership passions while inspiring others along the way.
